A True Story.

It's 5:03, the office is closed, our phones are set to after hours greetings and the website chat with an agent is offline.

I am walking towards the exit when I see a very nicely dressed woman with her smart phone held up to her ear by her shoulder and both arms shaking our door to ( I guess ) verify if it is really locked.

I reach down to unlock it and before I can ask can I help you - she blurts out....I'm on the phone with your office and its giving me your website address to visit, BUT ( she hangs up, looks at me and says ) I need Home Insurance right now. I found your website blog that said you are a Tucson Home Insurance Agency and I drove right down here, but I guess I am too late.

Inviting her into the office, I smiled, ( I had just written the blog about being a Tucson Home Insurance Agency the very week before )

Yes, I said we are a Tucson Home Insurance Agency and I can help you with your home insurance right now as long as the homes not on fire, or currently being burglarized. ( I laughed, she didn't ) She knew what she wanted, it was Insurance for her home from a Tucson Home Insurance Agency. So I dispensed with the sad attempt at humor and got right to work.

20 Minutes later: We had her new policy issued, application signed and an invoice to her Mortgagee to pay the premium.

Just before 5 pm today our phone rang with a client out of breath and approaching a panic attack.

I heard him screaming into the phone " I need an SR22 for Arizona " ( which prompted our Service Rep to inquire as to why. ) He repeated " I need an SR22 for Arizona " ( shouting now ) because my license is suspended over a ticket I truly forgot to pay!

First, we needed to verify why the SR-22 for Arizona was needed as sometimes an SR26 is required (See why do I need an SR22). Once we determined that the SR for Arizona was required, we simply advised the caller that we can handle the insurance and filing the SR22 for him. There was no need for him to leave his house and drive to our office, we processed everything over the phone, filed his SR22 for Arizona and emailed him a copy of the filing the next day.

What started with a very stressed out demand of I need an SR22 for Arizona, actually worked out very well. We of course were able to satisfy his filing, advised him to keep copies with him in every vehicle he drives and began what we hope is a long term relationship with another satisfied client.

Prepare for Driving In Bad Weather Before You Hit the Road

Rain, fog, sleet, snow, ice and wind… bad weather is the enemy of every driver in Arizona. RightSure Insurance wants you and your employees to be safe. Even if you are satisfied that your vehicle and all of its components are in good operating condition, bad weather demands that you take a few more precautions before hitting the road. At regular intervals, especially during the winter months, check the following items.

Abrasive Material: A bag of kitty litter or similar material will help you get moving under snowy or icy conditions

Battery: Does it need to be charged or replaced? Cold weather puts extra strain on a battery. Always keep jumper cables in your vehicle.

Brakes: Are they properly adjusted? Should they be replaced? Good brakes are more important than ever during the winter months. If you have an anti-lock braking system (ABS), make sure it is working.

Chains: Do you carry them? They can be a real help on ice or snow.
